The Sonadow Tarot Project is exactly what it says on the tin: a project for creating a Sonadow themed tarot deck. As of yet the exact scope of the project is unknown; we’re aiming for at least the Major Arcana, but if there is enough interest we’d love to create a full deck.

The Sonadow Tarot Project aims to create a collaborative Sonadow-themed tarot deck. The deck will likely be digital only and free of charge. Currently, we have interest checks open to see if we could get enough artists together to create a full deck—and if not that, at least the Major Arcana. If the responses to the interest check are positive, we'll open sign-ups for artists next. Stay tuned!

Helo, I’m ri! :] I was into Sonic as a kid but forgot about it for a few years… After watching Sonic Prime and the third movie, the sonadow got me good. I’ve always wanted to create a full deck of Tarot cards, so what better subject than my favourite hogs? If it’s art or design, I’m your guy 👍

Hiya! You can call me Kat or Hob. I’ve been casually into the Sonic franchise for a few years now, but after watching Sonic Prime in 2024 I fell head-first into obsession. My interest in Tarot goes back a little further; I got my first deck when I was twelve, as a gift from an aunt, who also taught me how to read the cards. I’m a writer, so anything that requires words is my purview, along with some of the logistics stuff.

FAQ
Are we planning on making a physical deck?
It depends on the results of the interest check, but it's unlikely. The advantage of a digital deck is that we can keep it free; for a physical deck, we'd have to charge to offset printing and shipping costs. Nothing is set in stone yet, though, so we're keeping the option open.
